Introduction

The Portuguese authorities decided to release 3 turtles that were for a long period of time under human care. Two of them spent over 30 years under human care.

Due to the high sensitivity of this release and lack of information on the survival probability, Zoomarine decided to attach a satellite transmitter to each specimen with the objective of gathering as much information as possible on their behavior and migration patterns.
