Mission: Turtles in the UK Overseas Territories (TUKOT) aims to progress the conservation, research and management of marine turtle populations and their habitats in the UK Overseas Territories (OTs), whilst highlighting the importance of the Environment Charters (ECs) and the relevant Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs).

Funding: The project is funded by the Overseas Territories Environment Programme (OTEP) which is a joint initiative of the Department for International Development (DfID) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).

Operation: The project is founded on an extensive network of governmental and non governmental organisations in the OTs and work is co-ordinated by the Marine Turtle Research Group (MTRG) of the University of Exeter in Cornwall and the Marine Conservation Society (MCS). Additional logistical support will be provided by SEATURTLE.ORG and the UK Overseas Territories Conservation Forum (UKOTCF). Work involves extensive liaison and collaborative fieldwork between OT and UK project partners contributing to a diverse range of activities in the following OTs (Follow links for OT specific pages):
