Annette co-ordinates the work of the MTRG with Brendan Godley. Her research into the ecology and conservation of marine turtles since 1991 has involved projects in Trinidad and Tobago, Northern Cyprus, Turkey, Guinea Bissau, UK Overseas Territories in the Caribbean, and Ascension Island. External responsibilities include acting as editor of the Marine Turtle Newsletter In addition, to having an online version, this is distributed in hardcopy to over 1500 individuals in over 150 countries and is a major forum for exchange of information amongst sea turtle researchers and managers.
