Background

Tuttle was seen in 2003 and 2006 (satellite tagged) and has returned in 2010. We have tracked her for a second occasion to address a few hypotheses:
1- site fidelity to foraging grounds
2- consistency to internesting zones
3- repeatability of stable isotope samples to elucidate dietary ecology with consistency
Tuttle's tag had a snarl of fishing line wrapped around the antenna. Tuttle measures 88.5 cm curved carapace length, so has only grown 0.2 cm in 4 years.
Tuttle was tagged during a false crawl, and she nested the following night on Casey Key.

Tuttle is named for Tuttle Elementary School in Sarasota, Florida for their mascot - the Tuttle Turtles!
