Background

Longboat Lulu-2 is a remigrant from 2007 and she still carried the old satellite tag (removed) but with a damaged antennae (probably the reason the tag quit transmitting). In the 2007 season, she nested seven times and then the tag ceased transmitting so we never actually found out her migration route or home foraging ground. The 2010 tag will hopefully survive long enough to find out these unknowns this season.
Longboat Key Turtle Watch sponsored the 2007 tag which will undergo a battery replacement and be deployed on a different turtle. http://www.lbkturtlewatch.com/
Lulu's 2007 tracking history is archived here https://seaturtle.org/tracking/index.shtml?tag_id=74742a
