Background

Juvenile loggerhead sea turtle (68.5 cm SCLmin; Female; no genetics sample) caught during 15-min trawl at index station in Charleston Harbor Entrance Channel. This turtle was previously collected and tagged near the Charleston Harbor entrance channel in June 2001 (at which time it was 63.5 cm SCLmin). In May 2005, this turtle was tagged and released with a Telonics ST-20, Model A-2010 satellite transmitter. Duty cycle continuous on with saltwater switch; expected to last over one year. Dive cycle and water temperature data will be collected in addition to lat/lon.
