Luna es una tortuga carey (Eretmochelys imbricata) hembra de 44 kg y 72 cm de LRC que fue rescatada por pescadores en la Bahía de Navachiste Sinaloa, México en agosto de 2014 con lesiones en el plastron y parasitada con balanos. Luna se rehabilitó completamente y se le colocó un transmisor marca Siritrack modelo Kiwisat KG Long Life y se liberó el 19 de julio de 2015.

Luna is a female hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) of 44 kg and 72 cm LRC that was rescued by fishermen in the Bay of Navachiste in Sinaloa, Mexico in August 2014 with injuries on the plastron and parasitized with barnacles. Luna was completely rehabilitated and was released with a transmitter Siritrack brand model Kiwisat KG Long Life on July 19, 2015.
