Static Map | Zoom Map | Background Manuela is an adult female olive ridley, or Pacific ridley turtle. She nested on September 3rd, 1997 on Playa Migrino near Punta San Cristobal, Baja California Sur, Mexico. She is the first olive ridely traced in Baja California. She traveled more than 3,000 kilometers as she made her way north past Bahia Magdalena, across the Gulf of Ulloa to Punta Abreojos. She then made a long foray away from shore into the 3,000m + waters of the eastern Pacific.
