Why did animal X stop transmitting?

Background

Hamudi is an adult female Loggerhead, who arrived at the Israel Sea Turtle Rescue Center on January 2016, after she was accidentally caught on fishing net. Although Hamudi was in critical condition when the fishermen found her, by the time she got to the rescue center she was strong and alert, and needed no invasive treatment. Hamudi was kept at the rescue center for a month-long observation. She was released on Feb 18th, 2016, with the fishermen who saved her, and kids from local schools. Hamudi was tagged with a satellite transmitter, donated by the Israel electrical company. Follow her journey here!
