Background

Soca is a mother with a young calf called Joy. Soca was equipped with a satellite tag while travelling through the Natural Reserve of Saint Martin.

Soca est une mere accompagnee de son jeune baleineau Joy. Ce sont leurs jeunes parrains , élèves de 4ème du collège de Quartier d'Orleans, à Saint-Martin, qui ont choisi leur nom pendant une intervention de sensibilisation de "mon école, ma baleine". Soca a ete equippee d'une balise satellite lors de son passage dans la Reserve Naturelle de Saint Martin.
