Background

Quliunngigaqtut (pronounced coo-lee-oon-knee-gack-toot) is the Inuktitut word for 'nine' because it was the ninth transmitter. Inuktitut is one of the Inuit languages of Nunavut in northern Canada, where Quliunngigaqtut's breeding grounds are located.
