South Carolina DNR Sea Turtle Conservation Program

Dewees Island has a beach that is approximately 4 km in length. Access to the beach is via 6 community beach accesses and a handful of shared, private beach accesses. Dewees averages less than 20 nests per year. Accessible by ferry only.
