Beach Description

Interlude Beach is located south of Botany Bay Heritage Preserve/WMA and north of Edingsville Beach. This is short (.90 km) stretch of beach that is backed by marsh. Ecotours and fishing guides use this beach as a destination. It is owned by SCDNR as part of Botany Bay Heritage Preserve. It is checked periodically for sea turtle activity by the Botany Bay Sea Turtle Field Technicians crossing over from Botany Bay by kayak.
