Beach Description
Little Capers Island is located in Beaufort County on the southern end of Pritchard's Island. The nesting beach is approximately 5.9 km long and stretches from Trenchard's Inlet (south-Bull Point beach) north across Turtle creek and Moon Creek to Pritchard's Inlet which separates Little Capers and Pritchard's Island. Little Capers Island was surveyed by SCDNR staff up until 2020, when the Pritchard's Island volunteer team took over surveys. In 2024 volunteers along with USCB faculty/student conducted surveys.
