This turtle has been approached while nesting on a beach in the Northern part of Mayotte (while the other ones have been all tagged at Saziley beach, in the southernmost tip of the island). She has immediately left Mayotte, first reaching another island of the Comores, Moheli and then continuing to swim Westward towards mainland Africa.
