Background

Aupajaangajuq (pronounced Ow-pa-yang-ah-yook) means 'orange' in Inuktitut for the orange leg band he is wearing. Inuktitut is one of the Inuit languages of Nunavut in northern Canada where Aupajaangajuq's breeding grounds are located.
