Background
Tuulli (pronounced tool-lee) is short for 'tuulligaarjuk' which is one of the Inuktitut names for Black-bellied Plover. Inuktitut is one of the Inuit languages of Nunavut in northern Canada where Tuulli's breeding grounds are located.
