Why did animal X stop transmitting?

Background

Hol Chan Hope is a loggerhead sea turtle that was attacked by a shark near Caye Chapel on Dec 18, 2017. She was transferred to Belize City and taken by ECOMAR to Animal Medical Center who stitched up the amputated flipper after stabilized was and sent to Hol Chan for rehabilitation. She was kept for a year and a half in a natural lagoon and was diving for crabs and mollusks on her own. Her migration path shows her foraging around San Pedro, but the points are not registering on the map.
