Hope 4 Nature is a female loggerhead sea turtle that was tagged by a visiting group from SEE Turtles and Nature's Path. This is the second loggerhead tagged in this new study of sea turtles in Belize by ECOMAR in collaboration with the Belize Fisheries Department, Marymount University and Hawksbill Hope. Background

Hope 4 Nature is the second loggerhead sea turtle tagged in a study to learn more about migration paths of sea turtles foraging on discarded lobster and conch products. The collaborative study is being conducted by ECOMAR, Marymount University, Hawksbill Hope and the Belize Fisheries Department.

• This map connects positions generated by the ARGOS system designated as location codes (lc) '4', '3', '2', '1', '0', 'A', 'B'.

• Bathymetry layers are derived from the GEBCO Digital Atlas published by the British Oceanographic Data Centre on behalf of the IOC and IHO, 2003, and the ETOPO2 Global 2' Elevations published by NOAA's National Geophysical Data Center.
• Sea surface temperature is derived from NOAA's GOES Daily Sea Surface Temperature data.
