In brief, the objectives of the Workshop were twofold:

• To highlight the diversity of types of tags and their application
• To present an opportunity for people to have hands-on experience with the different types of tags and applying them.

The first half of the workshop consisted of brief overviews of the three main categories of tags used by sea turtle workers.
