Beach Description
Amelia Island is the most northern barrier island in NE Florida. The island is approximately 13 miles long. The island is flanked on the north end by Ft. Clinch State Park, and on the south end by Amelia Island State Park. AISTW is responsible for monitoring the beach in between the state parks, approximately 9 miles.
