Crescent Beach consists of 3.8 miles (6.12km) of quartz sand beach in St Augustine, Florida. This stretch of beach does have non-restricted beach driving, along with residential property, rentals, and condominiums. Nesting season begins May 1st and ends October 31st. Crescent Beach Sea Turtle Patrol is a group of trained volunteers who monitor this beach 7 days per week during the nesting season. We conduct State Nesting Beach Surveys (SNBS) and participate in Index Beach Nesting Surveys (INBS).
