North Carolina WRC Sea Turtle Project

Lea Hutaff Island is a ~4 mile island in between Topsail and Figure Eight Islands. The nesting beach of Lea-Hutaff island is monitored regularly by staff of NC Audubon. All sea turtle nests observed are marked and followed during the nesting season.
