Penny returns from nesting on Casey Key zone 4

Penny is a newly tagged loggerhead female with measurements of 90.5 cm curved carapace length. Biopsies will provide samples for studies of stable isotopes, genetics, and trace metal analyses. All marine turtle images taken in Florida were obtained with the approval of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) under conditions not harmful to this or other turtles.
