Loggerhead Turtle

Variations: Caretta caretta, Loggerhead

The loggerhead turtle is one of the seven species of marine turtle. Its latin name is Caretta caretta. It has a large logger head (hence the name) to support its large jaw muscles used for crushing molluscs and crustacea.
