Background

When Chusy was captured the measure of the curve carapace length was 70 cm, being so far the largest turtle tagged in this study. She had a hook in her mouth so she was sent to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Gran Canaria. The hook was removed and the turtle was released when rehabilitated, in Cofete beach, Fuerteventura Island.
