'Eloise' came ashore at approximately 10:30 pm local time to lay her third nest of the 2007 season. This female hawksbill (karet) has a caparpace length of 86.2 cm/33.9 in (scl) and an estimated weight of 100 kg/220 lb. She was originally tagged off Klein Bonaire in June 2004.

Tracking of this female hawksbill is sponsored by Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. 'Eloise' is named after one of her her granddaughters.

SEATURTLE.ORG collaborates with Argos to help scientists and conservationists manage and analyse their valuable animal tracking data.
