Ana's track
Background
"Ana" is the fourth Sukamade's green turtle equipped with telemetry. She was intercepted in 25 November 2008 after laying a clutch with 132 eggs. The eggs were relocate to the hatchery near the nesting beach. Her curved carapace length is 106 cm and curved carapas width 99 cm. A KS 101 model was attached on her carapace and she was released in the morning of the following day by a crowd of trainee from, the Meru Betiri and Alas Purwo National Park, Aceh, Kalimantan Barat, Jawa Barat, Wakatobi, WWF and Udayana University.
Unfortunately it was her last clutch on this nesting season. Soon after released she made a magnifying journey to the south and made an oceanic migration to reach the same foraging ground area with “Dorte” wich is also Green turtle tracked fro Sukamade beach at late February 08.

- This map connects positions generated by the ARGOS system designated as location codes (lc) '4', '3', '2', '1'.
- The static maps also shows locations of class 'Z', 'X' as small black circles which are not connected by a route line.
- Bathymetry layers are derived from the GEBCO Digital Atlas published by the British Oceanographic Data Centre on behalf of the IOC and IHO, 2003, and the ETOPO2 Global 2' Elevations published by NOAA's National Geophysical Data Center.
- Sea surface temperature is derived from NASA's MODIS 8-Day Sea Surface Temperature data.
