"Greenie" was sponsored by Jacques Scott Ltd in the Cayman Islands. This enormous female Green Turtle was tagged with a state-of-the-art KiwiSat 101 satellite transmitter when she nested on Seven Mile Beach. Every day, her satellite transmitter send us information on her location. These locations are plotted on the map as small circles for more accurate positions, and black dots for less accurate positions. This way, we can follow her journey as she makes a migration from her nesting beach Grand Cayman to a feeding ground in a distant country. She will live on this distant feeding ground for several years, until it is time for her to return to Grand Cayman to nest again. Where is this feeding ground? With the sponsorship of Jacques Scott, we will soon be able to find out! Check back soon for updates!
