Introduction
'Atlas', a 362 pound adult male loggerhead sea turtle was released 20 miles off Galveston Island, Texas in the Gulf of Mexico on Thursday, 14 July 2011. He had been cared for by staff at the Moody Gardens Aquarium in Galveston for the past 7 years.
