Background

Marilyn is a very small turtle at 79.6 cm curved carapace length. She carries a depth sensing Fastloc satellite tag and a geomagnetic tag. She false crawled on two nights before we finally met her during a false crawl (tagged) and then a successful nesting on 7/19. The tag is duty cycled to collect data and transmit every other day.



This tag was deployed for Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and provided by Section 6 funds from the Endangered Species Act
