Background

'Grace' is the first green turtle to be tracked from St Eustatius in 2006. She laid 129 eggs on Zeelandia Beach. Her CCL was 106cm. She had not been observed previously during the 4 years of monitoring on St Eustatius.
Her name was chosen by Naomi Smith, age 11, who was one of the winners of the art and craft competition held in 2005 as part of the education programme for the satellite tracking project.
