For almost 50 days no position was received for Dolunay, only several uplinks per day that confirmed the functioning of the transmitter. Finally, Dolunay is on her way to the feeding ground and we see that she has passed Crete and is heading towards the North African coast.

Background
Dolunay (turkish: Full Moon) was a first time nester on Dalyan beach in Turkey. She was equipped after she finished nesting and released back to the sea soon after. After 22 days she was observed nesting again on the same beach, but she may have nested inbetween these dates unnoticed. Until this last nest the tracking had not revealed any location, however while on the beach a couple of locations were obtained. The reason of this lack of locations is not understood yet, but since the transmitter was working well, it may be due to either the turtle's behaviour or the area (e.g. mountains, other interferring transmissions). Once Dolunay sets on her post-nesting migration we should know more. In šāʾ Allāh
