Background

The turtle, 49 cm CCL, was accidentally captured in trawls on 10 May 2017 near Vada (Livorno, Italy). She was in good health but slightly debilitated. For this reason she was riabilitated by the rescue center of Acquario di Livorno for 4 months. She was released in open sea when was 52 cm CCL
