Background

We found her nesting at 157am. Unfortunately, it possibly wasn't the best place to choose to nest, with logs also blocking her way. But she managed to navigate her way and laid her eggs under the trees on top of the dune. We attached a satellite tracker to her before she headed back to the sea. She was originally found nesting and tagged on Milman Island in January, 1997.

With limited amounts of algae and only a few barnacles on her shell, does she reside on a beautiful coral reef somewhere on islands of a neighbouring country?

Released on 3 February 2017.
