Background

The beautiful coloured shell hawksbill was found nesting just after 9pm under the dune trees. She laid her eggs and we attached a satellite tracker to her before she headed back to the sea. She has originally tagged on Milman Island in February, 2001.

With limited amounts of algae and only a few barnacles on her shell, does she reside on a beautiful coral reef somewhere further north of Milman Island?

Released on 30 January 2017.
