Background

Pinky is a flatback turtle tagged on Slate Island by the Dambimangarri rangers and Marine Park staff for Lalang-garram Camden Sound Marine Park. She did not nest because of dry sand that caved in upon the nest chamber attempt, so will return to nest soon. Pinky's name was chose by Derby District High School.
