Background

Ningles is a female green turtle who was tagged after a nesting attempt on Trisel Beach at Ningaloo. She was released at 0700 AM on 27 January 2017. She was 91.0cm CCL and 83.9cm CW.

We attached flipper tags WB9352 (left) and WB9351 (right).

The name Ningles was one of the winning names the inaugural Ningaloo Outlook naming competition. Ningles was first encountered at 4AM after emerging at low tide, as we were getting ready to pack up.
