1) She nested on the night of 20th November 2017 15.3km West of Sandy Cape, and we took her to the Lighthouse in the trailer and attached the tracker, and then released her at the Lighthouse gate on the afternoon of 22nd November.
2) She had a 21 day inter-nesting interval returning to nest on the 11th of December at 17.3km West of Sandy Cape but had spent most of her inter-nesting period SW of here around the corner in Platypus Bay.
3) She had a 13 day inter-nesting interval nesting again on the 24th December about 1.5km West of Sandy Cape:
4) She had a 12 day inter-nesting interval, and her final nest recorded was on the 5th January 2018 at 1.04km South of Sandy Cape.
The last signal from the tracker came at 8:10pm AEST on the 8th January 2017, after the turtle appeared to be drifting on the surface for five hours the night before from midnight to 5am, 40km to 50km NW of Rooney Point.
This was unusual behavior for this turtle during the time she was tracked, and suggests that transmissions ceased because she suffered some kind of incident or injury leading to her death, rather than because of a failure of the tracker.
