Introduction

At the 35th ISTS in Dalaman, Turkey, a workshop on "Bio-logging for Sea Turtles" was held. The organizers, Kate Mansfield and Sandra Hochscheid, and four invited speakers, George L. Shillinger, Tomoko Narazaki, Philippe Gaspar and Lucy Hawkes, presented and discussed new technologies, analysis methods and ethical principles related to the biologging approach. As part of the workshop three loggerhead turtles and one green turtle were equipped with satellite transmitters and released on the beach nearby the DEKAMER center at Dalyan. Here are the maps showing the movements of the loggerhead turtles.
