You will be glad to hear that the Government of India has cleared the plan of setting up the national rocket and missile testing site at Balasore, Orissa, instead of at Gahirmatha, which is one of the world's largest ridley rookeries. However, though land requirements of the project have been reduced from 115 to 68 km2 for the range itself, over 6,000 families still have to be moved.
