| We humans have, in a very short time, earned an INCREDIBLY ABYSMAL track record regarding the well being of sea turtles.In my opinion,thoughtless, careless actions by humans should be rewarded by the thoughtful & careful implementation of appropriate International Laws coupled with sizeable penalties for the breaking of same. These animals have existed here on earth, and in the sea, for in excess of 200 MILLION years-yes, 200 MILLION years! They lived peacefully throughout this period, without ANY risk of an early death effected by MAN'S strewing of MAN-MADE GARBAGE throughout the animals living areas. It's time for a WAKE-UP CALL ....in my opinion it's the latter OR extinction, over the medium term, of these wondrous animals from our landscape. Will man EVER learn?
