Relocating a loggerhead nest - Holden Beach, NC, USA

Under the direction of the Holden Beach Turtle Watch Program, Lauren Sigmon takes care to maintain the orientation of each egg as she moves it from the nest to the cooler. This nest was below the maximum high-tide level and was relocated to prevent overwashing.
