First ever hawksbill to be equipped with a satellite tag in the Eastern Pac

Joalin was captured near Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico using a tangle net and is the first hawksbill in the Eastern Pacific Ocean to be equipped with a satellite tag. The tag was donated by Oceana to the Eastern Pacific Hawksbill Initiative - Mexico.
