Lydia Ann (RRR618) released on 18 October 2007

"Lydia Ann" is an 82.7 cm SCL (90.0 CCL) loggerhead turtle found floating and unable to submerge in the Lydia Ann Channel near Port Aransas, Texas on 26 March 2007. RRR618 was named "Lydia Ann" during his/her rehabiliation at the Animal Rehabilitation Keep (ARK) program at the University of Texas Marine Science Institute (UTMSI) in Port Aransas. "Lydia Ann" was outfitted with a Sirtrack KiwiSat 101 satellite transmitter by the TAMUG STFERL on 18 October 2007 and released into the Gulf of Mexico off Mustang Island, near Port Aransas. His/her satellite tagging and release was filmed by a news crew from KRIS TV Channel 6 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
