"Do you know where Sea Turtles go?" is written by Paul Lowery and is an environmentally correct story of a Loggerhead sea turtle named Myrtle. It is written and illustrated to be interesting, fun and educational. From the moment she is hatched from her egg deep in the sands of a tropical beach, Myrtle is met by challenges and dangers that confront all young sea turtles. As she enters the surf her life’s story begins and is filled with excitement and discovery over thousands of miles of seaweed, oceans, coral reefs and tropical isles. As Myrtle grows up she encounters the perils of life in the sea, but one day meets a special friend and finds romance. When it is time for Myrtle to make her own nest, she travels back to the same stretch of beach from where she was born to lay her own clutch of eggs.
