The Manual
Recently, I went down to Stepahnie Presti's place in Sarasota to work on "the manual." "The Manual" is Stephanie's brainchild. It is a document that will maintain a historical account of people, events, and changes associated with the workings of the Sea Turtle Symposium and the International Sea Turtle Society. It is meant to assist and provide guidelines to the current and future officers of the International Sea Turtle Society about the workings and procedures of the Society/Symposium and about their duties.
Stephanie asked if I would help her put this document together and I willingly agreed to be her "sous chef." We have been working on this document for almost a year. Last week, in the comforts of her plush couch and with moral support from her three dogs Emma, Jazzy, and Precious, we worked diligently on updating the document. It is still a work-in-progress, but we hope it will be valuable to present and future members of the sea turtle community.
