In a silly mood
A blogger in a silly mood
The dissertation rests
minimized
in a corner
of the screen
‘Cause I have tales to blog
of oh so many other things
heard, learnt, seen
on beaches I have been
Off goes the blog
into cyber space
Opened on screens
in some distant place
Unknown to me
Giving rise to thoughts
Unknown to me
Perhaps a laugh,
or a curl of the lip
or just a ‘huh?’
or just a ‘hmm’
a shrug and a click
on boxes waitin’
at the bottom
of their screen
ok, that’s enough silliness, I should get back to work…
