LAX update
Got a bit of work done, but wasted most of my time here watching the TV in the bar. There was a two hour car chase involving some yutz going around in circles in downtown LA trying get away from the police.
Quick fact: there were 593 car chases in LA in 1999. Each one ended in the arrest of the person being chased.
Aside from the obvious, what are these people thinking when they run from the police. This seemed relatively tame, but there were any number of occassions when a passer-by could have been injured.
Man am I glad I don't live out here!

Ah, yes I saw that car chase, too. Do you know how it ended? I was watching it but then the channel went from its regular news to the next program, even though it had been following it extensively, so I never got to find out how it ended. I know it may be strange, but if you know could you please tell me? I can't seem to find out anywhere online. Lol, sorry if this is random. Life's short...I was just curious.

The guy got himself cornered in the drop off circle in front of an office building, bailed out of the van and made a run for it. He made it about a block before the police caught up to him and hauled him off in a squad car. I haven't heard any follow-up since then.

Just don't confuse So.Cal. with No. Cal., two different places (albeit just as expensive)
